Paul Randal Mentorship

Hello Paul,
I do not have a blog and I do not have a job. This will be my first blog and your mentorship will mean a lot to me.  
I started out as a COBOL programmer with an insurance company in 1998 and eventually my career path led me to SQL Server which I have been working with since year 2000.
Having worked for 20 years, I decided to take a break to embark on the IVF journey to expand my family. My plan was to take a 2 years break.
After 3 years as a full time mother, with a 6 years old and a 1 year old children in a pandemic situation, I find myself stuck in a situation where “not working” is not a voluntary choice anymore and I am sacrificing my career for my family’s health and safety.
On one hand, I am entirely grateful to be able to care for my children and my family full time but I am also concern as time goes by to be disconnected from the IT industry.
I would like to get help and mentorship from you to help me get back into the job market after my gap years.
